When universities closed in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, librarians and other information professionals quickly pivoted to providing virtual services and expanded online resources to their users. The librarians, archivists, and curators of the Western History Association (WHA) provided information services not just to patrons of one institution, but to any researcher studying Western American history. These information professionals, from institutions across the United States, quickly produced two webinars and a research guide, providing historians with resources as well as an opportunity to connect during an uncertain time.
