Evaluation of the Robert M. Kerr Food & Agricultural Products Center Web Site
Abstract
The scope of this study included a census of FAPC stakeholders and clients obtained from the FAPC publications database. Data was collected with a mailed survey instrument. The purpose of this study was to determine whether FAPC clients and stakeholders use the FAPC Web site and what information they desire to access via the FAPC Web site. More than half of the respondents had never visited the FAPC Web site, but those who had deemed it acceptable. The most common frequency of visit was monthly. The calendar of events and the publications archive are the two most visited pages, more frequent updates and more detailed information on area description pages could prompt more revisits. Currently, the Web site is not effective as a sole source of communication to stakeholders and clients.
