dc.description.abstractCoastal Carolina University is constructing a new library while also planning a complete renovation of the old library. Space needs for emerging makerspace technologies, data visualization labs, and special collections compete as priorities against traditional facility usage designated for desktop computers and physical print collections. The presenters will share how they used years of qualitative and quantitative data to determine the best use and design of library spaces for 21st century learners.
