The purpose of this project was to develop a thermal energy storage tank test bed that would be used by future senior design project teams to conduct tests and research. This semester's team focused on designing, developing, and fabricating a system that could be used to specifically test various baffle configurations and observe which configuration(s) performed best at minimizing the mixing of hot and cold water within the tank. The system was successfully fabricated and presented at the Fall 2022 Senior Design Expo at the ENDEAVOR building on OSU's campus.
