dc.description.abstractThis proposal for the Orlando West Fire Station seeks to build connections between the community and the fire fighters through a contextually inspired design that caters to the needs of the community, ensures a healthy environment for the fire fighters, and serves as a node of interaction between the community and fire fighters. The contents of this report explore the process and result of the architectural, structural, and building system design.
