dc.description.abstract | This study was concerned with the effects of a centering exercise on the selective attention of a group of fifth grade children. The idea for the study grew out of my concern and interest in working with children. In the course of my work with children, I had encountered many books and articles with ideas for intervention strategies that would be useful in the regular classroom. However, I found little research that had explored the effects of the use of many of these intervention strategies and decided to do some exploring myself. | |
