dc.description.abstractThis is a study of the relationship between ESL college students' written syntactic fluency and their reading comprehension. The results indicate a relationship between reading comprehension and two of the ten syntactic elements analyzed, passive verbs (p < 0.05) and prepositional phrases (p < 0.01).
