The Historical Composers Translation Series includes rare music treatises on performance practice from the Renaissance and Baroque periods. Dr. Sion “Ted” Honea, co-founder of the Brisch Center for Historical Performance, completed these critical English translations while on faculty at the UCO School of Music. These translations not only shape academic work in historical performance but help musicians develop performance practices rooted in historical authenticity.
