Abstract

In this dissertation, we discuss the flavor changing interactions of Beyond Standard Model (BSM) Higgs bosons, including neutral heavy Higgs (CP-even scalar $H^0$ and CP-odd pseduo-scalar $A^0$) and Charged Higgs ($H^\pm$), with quarks at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC).Adopting a general two Higgs doublet model (G2HDM), we investigate several different channels to study the flavor changing interactions of BSM Higgs bosons. For flavor changing neutral Higgs bosons, we look for $t \to c \phi^0$ or $\phi^0 \to t\bar{c}$ followed with $\phi^0 \to \tau^+\tau^-$ or $\phi^0 \to t\bar{c}/\bar{t}c$. For interactions of charged Higgs, we study $c g/\bar{c}g\to bH^\pm$ with $H^- \to b\bar{c}$ or $H^+ \to \bar{b}c$. This report presents the study of the discovery potential of these channels at the LHC. Applying Monte Carlo simulations with \textsc{VEGAS}, \textsc{MadGraph}~5, \textsc{Pythia}~8 and \textsc{Delphes}, we evaluate the signal and dominant physical background cross sections after implementing realistic selection rules. We limit the parameter space for experimental results at the LHC and discuss the discovery rate at Collider energy $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV, 13.6 TeV and 14 TeV.
