dc.descriptionThis study examines the factors that contributed to this significant shift rightward among young–particularly white–men during the 2024 election. Through a series of in-depth interviews between young men within a fraternity during the months prior to the election, this study finds a number of social and political factors driving young men toward the Republican party and Donald Trump. This study assesses the culture and politics within fraternities and among young men in general, that have contributed to this dramatic political realignment.
