dc.description.abstractThe score calls for two ensembles placed in the pit and on stage/backstage. Its total instrumentation is: On stage / backstage. two flutes, two B('(FLAT)) clarinets, one B('(FLAT)) clarinet, two B('(FLAT)) trumptets, two trombones, side drum, bass drum, piano, choir, and four actors. In the pit. two flutes, two oboes, two B('(FLAT)) clarinets, one bassoon, four horns in F, three trombones, one tuba, celesta, temple blocks, xylophone, suspended cymbal, bass drum, timpani, violin, viola, violoncello, double bass, and amplied voice.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe libretto is divided into three acts, and calls for four male characters, one female, and a choir. Its subject is a critique of contemporary society. The plot, placed in a hypothetical country, has as the central idea the oppression and manipulation of the people by those who represent powerful institutions: the state, the church, and the media.en_US
