dc.description.abstract | This project collected both descriptive and quantitative data from a sample of Hispanic child behaviors, acculturation, and religiosity. The results of this study indicate that this sample of Hispanic parents are highly involved in child-rearing, and have primary responsibility for many aspects of their children's lives. Overall, the sample had low acculturation to traditional Hispanic traditions, and was highly religious. Additionally, the results of this study provided tentative support for the use of popular psychometrically sound measures with a Hispanic population. | |
