dc.description.abstract | This study is an analysis of the language used in the British Union of Fascists Press's publication during Britain's inter-war period. Through description of the language used in these newspapers in support of British fascism, this study provides an understanding of British Union of Fascists' worldview. By showing a correlation between membership in the British Union of Fascists and the major issues published in the British Union of Fascists Press at a specific point in time, the study shows which political statements were the most successful in attracting new membership. | |
