Assessing African American women with preexisting health conditions perception of aquatic activities on quality of life in rural communities
Abstract
Aquatic activities are activities that are performed in water. While there are many types of aquatic activities, many African American women do not participate. To understand why African American women do not participate in any form of aquatic activities, their perception of aquatic activities should be taken into consideration. The assessment tools used in the study were WHO-BREF, PAQ-DP, and SWLS to collect suggest if there was a correlation between the specific demographic questions and their perception of aquatic activities as all questions related to quality of life
