dc.description.abstract | My study focused on how the behavior of dogs in animal shelters can be affected by canine PTSD based on differing backgrounds. This project shows a more relaxed version of explaining how dogs can respond to things differently if they have traumatic backgrounds. This is important because people should be able to recognize when a dog is affected by PTSD in order to help manage it to improve quality of life when adopting. | |
