dc.description.abstract | So you've decided you want to create open educational resources (OER) to provide free and reduced cost materials to your students and faculty alike. Great! Are you sure it's truly open? Can you collect any meaningful data to know if students are actually learning? Are those learning analytics prioritizing student privacy and safety? In this webinar, participants will take a look at some often-forgotten details that should be considered before any OER creation takes place, as well as explore methods for safely incorporating learning analytics so as to continuously improve OER effectiveness. Participants will hear from three institutions and their journeys to create OER with learning analytics, including valuable lessons learned along the way. | |
