dc.description.abstract | The National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC) is a case-study based advertising competition gives college students the real-world experience of creating a comprehensive advertising campaign for a real-life client. The Oklahoma State University School of Media and Strategic Communications participates in this competition each year, but the awareness of this is lacking, in turn hurting recruitment efforts. This thesis focuses on improving recruitment efforts and overall awareness of OSU’s NSAC team to get students to apply. My own experience being on the team in 2021 shaped all recruitment efforts (poster, emails, class visits and website) and I aimed to show potential team members what they can gain from the experience with a personal touch. Through the creation of a web presence for the team, overall awareness should see an increase. All of these tactics used are meant to be used for years to come. | |
