This executive summary details the findings of a pilot project launched by Dr. Corinne Schwarz (GWST) and undergraduate research assistant Leigh Welch (Sociology/Political Science). From November 2020 to February 2021, Schwarz and Welch interviews 17 service providers in the anti-violence sector about their workplace experiences during COVID-19. The executive summary summarizes the most important demographic data, methodological practices, and general findings. COVID-19 served as an amplifying force for preexisting client challenges, such as accessible jobs, childcare, and housing. Mask compliance was nearly uniformly respected, save stakeholders in the law enforcement sector. Finally, COVID-19 and the "virtual office" created new conditions for connection and disconnection, leading to a complex restructuring of interpersonal contact.
