While participating in a graduate level course, we were given a large data set on the sales of a Korean department store. With this Microsoft Excel data I analyzed the sales using data analysis functions that were taught throughout the semester. From this I looked into the sales related to promotions given by the store and sales related to the channel and how much promotions were used based on category and channel. This resulted in a multitude of recommendations for the stores to consider to improve their bottom line.
