dc.description.abstract | Community Centers are more than just buildings, they provide spaces for people to find somewhere they belong, a community within a larger group. The process of designing a community center goes through several steps, from group-based Schematic and conceptual design to individual Design Development and Construction Documentation. Each phase creates its own problems that are worked through and solved, and each solution creates a better version of the design. Above all else, the design process ends with a result that one can be proud of. | |
