Profiling predictors of speech intelligibility in individuals with Parkinson's disease
Abstract
The current study investigated the perceptual predictors of speech intelligibility in individuals with Parkinson's disease and the magnitude of each in predicting speech intelligibility as perceived by semi-trained listeners. The outcomes of this study have implications for the treatment protocol for enhancing speech intelligibility in this population.
