Scope and Method of Study: The use of paper chromatography is very wide spread in applied chemistry, but is seldom mentioned in high school text books. Because of this fact, a selection of several projects for high school laboratory use or class demonstration have been selected and chocked by the writer in the laboratory.
The projects which were vivid in color and fast in reaction time were considered to be most useful for demonstration purposes. Projects number one, two, and four were most satisfactory.
