dc.description.abstract | Affective synchrony is how much partners respond with similar emotions. It is hypothesized that affective synchrony is related to higher relationship satisfaction and attachment security. Twenty-three couples engaged in negative and positive discussion and reported their affect. Associations between asynchrony and male attachment were found. Implications for clinicians are discussed. | |
