Unmanned aerial vehicles, also known as drones, have become a major threat to the United States' security both internationally and domestically. Drones are now being used in military operations, to film propaganda videos, and to drop dangerous objects below, especially in prisons. Although there are a few current defeat systems available, these systems have seen limited success. This project requires us to build an electrical or mechanical system to disable an enemy control drone. The BB-RC jammer we designed uses four 2.4 GHz radio transmitters to flood the wifi spectrum and force the enemy drone to enter one of its preprogrammed fail safe mechanisms.
