dc.description.abstract | Of the many techniques involved in fund raising, the letter is the most fascinating to me. Fund raisers must be doing something right in their writing the appeal letter. Individual donations to charity continue to rise yearly. Apparently, there is a great deal of agreement between the fund raisers and those who contribute as a result of the letters. I wanted to know precisely what made one letter more effective than another, and what guidelines could be set up to construct an effective letter. | |
