dc.description.abstractThis study is concerned with the opinion and degree of implementation of responding states of Standard 14 of the National Advisory Commi$sion on Criminal Justice Standards and Goals for Corrections. This standard deals specifically with correctional manpower. The primary objective is to analyze specific areas within the standards that deal with pertinent correctional manpower problems. Ranking of states and geographical patterns will also be discussed.
