dc.description.abstractThis study was undertaken to lay the groundwork for study of the host-parasite relationship of the genital tract infection of the mare by K. pneumoniae. It is felt that a better method of isolation of the organism has been developed, and that a better understanding of the course of the disease and its etiologic agent has been attained.
