dc.description.abstractThis study is concerned with the description of the religious beliefs and practices in a Guyanese rural community called Frenton. The primary objective of this study is to find out what are the various modes of religious behavior in the community of Frenton. This study about the religious beliefs and practices found in Frenton is based on an examination of the religious institutions. Malinowski�s scheme for the analysis of organized behavior is used as a guide in describing the religious behavior in Frenton.
