dc.description.abstractScope and Method of Study: During the summer and fall of 1987, a market research survey was conducted to gather information about Kansas City construction companies automated payroll needs to determine the market demand for a software product or service.
dc.description.abstractFindings and Conclusions: There were sixty-one respondents from a sample of two hundred twenty-five Kansas City construction companies. Data provided by the respondents indicated that a need exists for an automated payroll service capable of completely automating state tax calculations and reporting in accordance with Missouri labor union requirements.
