dc.description.abstractThis study is concerned with estimating the effects of cooperative mergers on the milk marketing efficiency in the Southwest United States. Specific objectives include determining a market structure that may have existed in the absence of cooperative mergers, and comparing assembly and processing costs under the alternative market structures.
