Use of Serologic Techniques in Diagnosis of Heartworm Disease
Abstract
This study is concerned with the evaluation of Dirofilaria immitis infections in dogs. The primary objective was to evaluate existing criteria for diagnosis of occult heartworm disease. The second objective was to determine the prevalence of occult infections that occured in selective feral dogs from two animal shelters in northcentral Oklahoma.
