This creative component is about parents being empathetic with their children through art. Parents can help build their children's self-esteem by the way the child's art is perceived. This project was designed to educate the parents on how their responses to their pre-schooler's artwork reflects the pre-schooler's self-esteem. Two parent workshops were planned, implemented, and evaluated.
The workshops were designed for parents, teachers, caregivers, church educators and other personnel associated with early childhood programs. Persons preparing for leadership, administrative, and supervisory positions should find this creative component informative and meaningful.
