dc.description.abstractA 10 week incubation study was conducted to determine the effect of N fertilizer and wheat straw residue on N transformations in the soil. Exchangeable NH4-N and N03-N were analyzed for at specified lengths of time to measure the rate of mineralization. Organic N was determined at the end 0� the experiment.to measure the amount of N immobilized.
