Relationships Between Benthic Macroinvertebrates and Silviculture in Southeastern Oklahoma
Abstract
The study involved an investigation of the community structure of benthic invertebrates in southeastern Oklahoma. The objective of this study was to evaluate changes in. benthic invertebrate communities associated with silviculture activities in drainage b~sin of streams in southeastern Oklahoma. Similarities and differences in communities were evaluated by comparing total density/m2, diversity, percent similarity, Euclidean distance, functional groups and the number of taxa.
