dc.description.abstractThe lethal and local effects of Cortalus horridus horridus (timber rattlesnake) venom were measured. Local effects include myonecrosis and hemorrhage. The ability of polyvalent 9Crotalidae) antivenin to neutralize these effects was also measured.
