dc.description.abstract | The method of aqueous pyrolysis was investigated as an alternative for treating solid waste materials. The benefits of this treatment process were the production of gaseous products containing hydrocarbon gases, the reduction of volatile organic matter, volume reduction, and the destruction of toxic pollutants. The waste material processed by this method included raw municipal wastewater sludge, newsprint paper, grain dust, and a rubber waste. | |
