dc.description.abstractThis study is undertaken to investigate the effects of work history patterns, human capital factors and sociodeaographic characteristics on incoae and assets of women 65 years of age and over. A nationally representative sample is used in the study. The research tests race, marital status and age for interaction with independent variables. The results of the study are discussed in terms of the income sources and types of assets which women 65 years of age and over possess.
