A dispersed growth biological secondary sewage treatment process for removing dissolved organic material and suspended solid material from sewage including metabolizing the dispersed biological solids to yield new cell material, carbon dioxide, and water, subjecting the metabolized medium to hydroclonic forces to seperate the same into clean effluent and concentrated biological solids, and total oxidizing the concentrated biological solids in a saturation environment.
