Binary Vapor-liquid Phase Equilibrium for Methane and Carbon Monoxide in Selected Hydrocarbons
Abstract
This study details the binary vapor-liquid phase equilibrium for methane and carbon monoxide in selected hydrocarbons. The solubilities of methane and carbon monoxide were measured at temperatures from 104 to 302 F and pressures to 104 bar in selected hydrocarbons. Binary interaction parameters have been obtained using the SoaveRedlich- Kwong and Peng-Robinson equations of state for each of the systems studied.
