dc.description.abstractThis thesis consisted of an examination into the front-page coverage of the 1990 Oklahoma governor's race by Oklahoma's three largest newspapers, The Tulsa Tribune, Tulsa World, and the Oklahoman. Examining the relationship between the print media and their political coverage was the catalyst for doing this research.
