This study consists of two sections. The first section deals with the development and organization of a database for the solubility of six supercriticaJ fluids (carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, ethane, methane, nitrogen and hydrogen) in n-paraffins aromatics and naphthenes. Peng-Robinson and Soave-Redlich-Kwong equations of state binary interaction parameters were regressed from these data, and estimates for Henry's constants and infinite-dilution partial molar volumes were determined. The second section addresses the development of a graphical user interface for the GEOS (Generalized Equations of State) software to predict physical volumetric, calorimetric and phase equilibrium properties of pure fluids and mixtures.
