dc.description.abstractThis research was conducted in order to construct a sequence stratigraphic framework for the Upper Carboniferous Wabaunsee Group in the Midcontinent. Previous work on within the Wabaunsee Group and adjacent strata has been interpreted as displaying a superimposed hierarchy of stratigraphic forcing. This study will determine if in fact a hierarchy of stratigraphic forcing does exist within the Wabaunsee Group.
