The effect of substitution at the 9 position of the electrochemical oxidation of xanthine.
(1980)
The electrochemical oxidation of xanthosine was shown to be nearly identical to that of 9-methylxanthine. The major difference being the ribose substituent in the observed products.
Synthesis and characterization of stannoles.
(1980)
Treatment of the diiodotetraphenylstannole with excess lithium cyclopentadiene results in lithium 1,1-dicyclopentadienyl-1-iodo-2,3,4,5-tetraphenylstannole which, along with its bromine analog, are the only lithium salts ...
I. OVERVIEW OF THE METHODOLOGY OF TRANSITION METAL SUBSTITUTION KINETICS. II. SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC INVESTIGATION OF THE EXTENT OF ION-PAIRING BETWEEN AQUOPENTAAMMINERHODIUM(III) AND CHLORIDE IN ACIDIC AQUEOUS SOLUTION. III. THE SYNTHESIS OF TRANS-DIAQUOBIS(ETHYLENEDIAMINE)IRIDIUM(III). IV. THE KINETICS OF THE ANATION BY CHLORIDE OF TRANS-DIAQUOBIS(ETHYLENEDIAMINE)RHODIUM(III) IN ACIDIC AQUEOUS SOLUTION.
(1980)
The work reported here is part of an effort to develop a new method for studying the kinetics of transition metal substitution reactions. In the past, reactions have been studied at high, constant ionic strength following ...
Development of methodology for the determination of catecholamines, indoleamines, and related hydroxylating enzymes.
(1980)
This study was concerned with the development and improvement of analytical procedures using liquid chromatography with electrochemical detection for the determination of activity of tyrosine hydroxylase, tryptophan ...
I. COMPARATIVE STUDY OF LIPIDS OF SHARK LIVERS. II. COMPARATIVE BIOCHEMICAL STUDY OF SOME GORGONIANS.
(1980)
Diterpenoid compounds, cetyl palmitate and hydrocarbons were examined from eggs of Pseudopterogorgia americana and five samples of Plexaura. Two diterpenoid compounds, mw 304 and 306, were obtained only from P. "REM" St. ...
An investigation into the natural products chemistry of the sea hare Aplysia dactylomela.
(1980)
A diterpenoid alcohol, C(, 20)H(, 32)O(, 3), which was characterized as a novel isomer of the known diterpenoid dolatriol, was also isolated from the chloroform extract.
