dc.description.abstractChapter I of this thesis is an introduction and literature review focusing on the history and biology of Schizaphis graminum. It concentrates on host use and biotypes. Chapters II, III and IV are formal manuscripts of the research I conducted during my M.S. program and are written in compliance with the publication policies and guidelines for manuscript preparation with the appropriate journals.
