Data from: Canola supports wild bee-plant mutualisms across multiple spatial scales Plants were grown in is a greenhouse and placed in field sites across north-central Oklahoma for 48 hours during June, July and August in 2018 and 2019. Bees were sampled across north-central Oklahoma once per month from May through October. All field sites were adjacent to either canola or wheat fields. Site: The unique site name Grain: Crop adjacent to either canola (c) or wheat (w) Year: Year sampled Bee abundance: Abundance of native bees Bee generic richness: Number of unique genera collected Month: May (5), June (6), July (7), August (8), September (9), October (10) Canola cover: Relative cover of canola within 2000m radius on center of site Log of bee abundance: log of the abundance of bees collected Species: Native plant species Year: Year sampled Grain: Crop adjacent to either canola (c) or wheat (w) Mean seed count: Mean of total number of seeds collected Standard deviation (seed count): SD of seed count Mean Seed weight (g): Mean of total seed weight measured in grams Standard deviation (seed weight): SD of seed weight
