Four hundred and nine adult women took part in the study. Participants completed a demographic questionnaire, the Mutual Psychological Development Questionnaire, the Hoffman Gender Scale, and the Father-Daughter Relationship Inventory. A hierarchical regression analysis was conducted with three steps. The regression analysis revealed that the full model predicted significant variance in mutuality scores. More specifically, participant age, emotional responsiveness and communication within the father-daughter relationship, gender self-acceptance, and gender self-definition were found to be significant predictors of mutuality scores in the final step of the model.121 pagesapplication.pdfWomen--PsychologyMan-woman relationshipsDating (Social customs)Fathers and daughtersThe Influence of Father-Daughter Relationship Quality on Current Romantic Relationship Quality in Womentext
